Edison, NJ -Brennan Morris of Loyola University Maryland was selected as the MAAC Men's Swimmer of the Week, while the women's award was given to Kate Conard of Marist College. Diver of the Week Honors were awarded to Brian Bolstad of Marist and, for the second week in a row, Elizabeth Rice of Siena College.

In Marist's loss to Rider, Bolstad swept both diving events. On the 3-meter board he totaled 293.17 points, good for an 8.85 point victory. In the 1-meter event, Bolstad coasted to a 38.57 point victory with a mark of 287.92.

Rice came through again for the Saints Wednesday night against Holy Cross. She swept the 1-meter (223.75) and 3-meter (207.7) diving events, bringing her season win total to five through just six diving events.

Conard won three individual events and a relay as Marist defeated Rider 168-128 in the team's MAAC dual meet opener at the McCann Center. Conard posted wins in the 1,000- and 500-yd. freestyles and the 200-yd. individual medley. She also swam the opening leg of the 200-yd. medley relay. In the 1,000-yd. freestyle she finished with a time of 10:20.83, while she posted times of 5:04.60 and 2:10.64 in the 500-yd. freestyle and 200-yd. IM respectively.

Morris won a pair of individual events to help the Greyhounds defeat Seton Hall, Drexel and Lafayette on Saturday afternoon. He swam a time of 9:21.53 in the 1,000-yard freestyle to win the event by almost 28 seconds ahead of Drexel's Austin Acheson. Morris' time was the second fastest in Loyola history, just off his school and MAAC record set last year. He then clocked a time of 1:52.16 in the 200-yard backstroke to win the event by more than two seconds.

The 2011 MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships will be held February 17-19 at Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY, hosted by Canisius College and Niagara University.
