Baltimore, Md. - Siena College earned its first-ever MAAC title with a 1-0 overtime victory over Canisius College in the title game of the 2010 Chick-fil-A MAAC Women's Soccer Championship at the Ridley Athletic Complex on the campus of Loyola University Maryland.

After going scoreless in regulation, the draught was finally broken in the 92nd minute when senior midfielder Tabitha Tice converted a shot from 15 yards out after receiving a pass from sophomore forward Caitlin Cahalan.

Siena goalkeeper Elizabeth Barna recorded two saves in her third shutout of the season for the third-seeded Saints.  Canisius' Lesley Ivinac posted seven saves between the pipes for the top-seeded Griffs.

Tice was named the Most Valuable Player of the championship, joining teammates Barna, Cara Riley and Maren Serafine on the All-Tournament Team.  Canisius was represented by Brianna Smith, Laura Ellis and Ivinac on the squad.  Marist's Kathryn Hannis and Lauren Tillotson as well as Rider University's Abi Cottam and Meghan Mohr rounded out the members of the All-Tournament Team.
