Poughkeepsie, NY - On October 23 Marist Women's Soccer sponsored a Breast Cancer Awareness game. They solicited donations, decorated the stadium and
honored survivors.
The team wore pink
shoelaces and pink warm up t-shirts designed for the event.
Other athletes helped support the event by
selling 50/50 and raffle tickets, selling t-shirts, passing out prizes and
participating in a t-shirt toss to the crowd at halftime. Athletes came in support wearing pink and all proceeds
were donated to the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.
