Edison, NJ -MAAC Diver of the Week honors were awarded to Brian Bolstad of Marist College and Elizabeth Rice of Siena College. The Women's swimmer of the week is Brianna Burns of Rider University while Brennan Morris of Loyola University Maryland was given the men's award.

Bolstad guided the diving corps to a pair of easy victories on Saturday against Fairfield. On the 3-meter board, he dove to a score of 345.97 as Marist took the first and second places in the event. He won the board by 123.82 points. In 1-meter diving, Bolstad posted a score of 290.32 to win the event. It was his third consecutive sweep of the diving events this season.

Rice, the two-time defending MAAC Women's Diver of the Week had another series of strong performances Friday and Saturday. Not only did she sweep the one and three-meter events against Canisius and Duquesne, but her score of 249.36 in the one-meter event was a new Canisius pool record. She also put forth a strong effort at Niagara, winning the three-meter event and placing second in one-meter diving as well. Her win total now stands at eight through just ten events in 2010-2011.

Burns won her three individual events as she helped Rider beat Lehigh 154-139. She swam in the 50 free (24.56) the 100 free (52.95) and the 200 free (1:54.78).

Morris posted the sixth fastest time in all of NCAA Division I thus far in 2010-2011 last weekend in the 400-yard individual medley as the Greyhounds won the Thomas Murphy Invitational. He won the event with a time of 3:56.06, one of his three individual event titles at the meet. Morris also won the 500-yard freestyle in 4:31.83, defeating the second-place individual by over nine seconds. Morris then won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:07.63, and he helped Loyola win two relay events.

The 2011 MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships will be held February 17-19 at Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY, hosted by Canisius College and Niagara University.
