DiClemente had a double-double for the
Greyhounds in two games with 46 points and 11 rebounds. She shot 56-percent
from the three point line making 5-of-9 shots. Against Maryland, DiClemente
broke her career high in points with 23. She shot 4-of-6 from the three point
line and was 5-of-7 on free throws. The graduate student made four
three-pointers after the intermission and her 14 second-half points contributed
to her 23. The closest Loyola came was 12, the last time at 67-55 with just
over six minutes remaining on a DiClemente three-pointer. She also recorded
three rebounds, two assists and a block and steal in the loss to Maryland.
Against Mount St. Mary's, DiClemente led the Greyhounds in points with 23 to
tie her career high. She shot 5-of-8 from the three point line and had eight
rebounds to beat the Mountaineers.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
MONICA ROEDER, MANHATTAN
Freshman, Guard/Forward, 6-0, Marlton, N.J./Cherokee
Roeder averaged 13.0 points and 4.0 rebounds as the Lady
Jaspers went 1-1 against Maryland Eastern Shore and Lafayette last week. In the 61-49 win at Maryland Eastern Shore on
Monday, Roeder tallied a game-high 18 points on .389 (7-of-18) shooting, and
her two free throws late in the game helped seal the victory. Roeder also tied a career-high with five
rebounds against the Lady Hawks. Then on
Thursday against Lafayette, she went 3-for-5 from the field and 2-for-3 from
three-point range, posting eight points and four rebounds in the 53-50 loss.
