Brown and Olsson Claim Indoor Track & Field Weekly Honors

Edison, NJ - Indoor Track
& Field Performer of the week honors were awarded to Steven Brown of Rider
University and, for the second consecutive week, Malin Olsson of Manhattan
College.
Brown made his first collegiate meet a memorable one
by winning the triple jump (14.79m) and placing third in the long jump (7.14m)
at Princeton University's New Year's Invite on December 11. Both marks
qualified Brown for the IC4As.
Also at the New Year's Invitational
at Princeton on Saturday, Olsson set her second meet record of the season en
route to winning the long jump. She won
the competition by over 40 centimeters, leaping
5.99m (19'8) on her final
jump.
The 2011 MAAC
Indoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted on February 18 at The New
Balance Track & Field Center in New York, NY.
