Riverdale, NY - On Sunday, Sept. 12,
the Manhattan College women's basketball team and coaching staff volunteered at
the annual Susan G. Komen New York City Race for the Cure in Central Park. The
Lady Jaspers manned the first water station at the 5K run/walk for 5
hours. The event drew 25,000 participants, including over 1,600 breast
cancer survivors to Central Park West. This marked the seventh straight
year that the women's basketball team has been involved with the event.
