Flooks averaged 25.0 points per game and
8.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 84.6
percent (11-for-13) from the free-throw line in two games last week. Flooks had
her first career double-double with a season-high 25 points and 10 rebounds in
a comeback victory over Penn on Nov. 30 for Niagara's first win of the season.
Flooks followed that performance with 18 points and seven rebounds at home
against the Loyola Ramblers on Sunday. Flooks needs 10 more points to join
Niagara's 1,000-point club.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
JAMIE RUTTLE, CANISIUS
Freshman, Forward, 6-4, Burlington, Ontario/Notre Dame
Ruttle led Canisius by averaging 8.0 points and 9.5 rebounds
in two games last week. The 6-foot-4 forward had nine points and eight rebounds
against Buffalo and then had seven points to go along with a career-high 11
rebounds against Duquesne. Ruttle has posted eight or more rebounds in three
straight games and scored at least seven points in four straight games.
