New Rochelle, NY - On Saturday,
November 13th, the Iona College Women's Lacrosse team served at the Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society 2010 Light The Night Westchester Walk. The girls dedicated their time to help blow
up balloons, hold signs at the entrance, and stuck lights into each
balloon. Each balloon had different
symbolism. Some balloons were
representative of a survivor, of someone who passed away, or of children and/or
adults who are still battling Leukemia.
The girls were glad to have taken part in such a great cause and it was
a valuable experience for them as well.
