SERENA MOORE, SIENA

Moore averaged 20.5 points,
8.5 rebounds and shot 56.3% from the field and 100% from the free throw line in
two road games this weekend. She scored a career-high 27 points at Niagara
Friday evening on 11-of-19 shooting from the field and 5-of-5 from the free
throw line. She pulled down nine rebounds. Moore followed her dominating
performance on Friday with 14 points, 8.5 rebounds and two blocks at Canisius
on Sunday. Moore supplied 39.4% of Siena's points and 23.9% of its rebounds
this weekend. The rest of the team shot a combined 28.1% (20-71) from the field
in the two games.
MAAC Rookie of the
Week
KAYLA STROMAN, NIAGARA
Freshman, Guard, 5-5, Syracuse, NY/Christian Brothers Academy
Stroman scored in
double-figures each game while shooting 46.7 percent from the field this
weekend for the Purple Eagles. She had 10 points and 3 assists in Niagara's win
over Siena on Friday night. Stroman followed that performance with a 15-point,
eight-assist and five-rebound outing in a 69-59 win against conference-leading
Marist on Sunday. The eight assists tied a career-high for the freshman. She
finished the weekend averaging 12.5 ppg, 5.5 apg and 3.5 rpg.
