Four Administrators from the MAAC Named to NCAA Committees

Edison, N.J. - Four administrators from member institutions within the MAAC were named to several NCAA Committees, with their terms starting on September 1, 2010.
Andrew Smith, head athletic trainer at Canisius College, will serve on the Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports. Karin Torchia, associate athletic director and senior woman administrator at Rider University, will be a member of the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Committee. Bill Wnek, assistant athletic director at Loyola University Maryland, earned a spot on the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Committee. Matthew Glovaski, associate athletic director at Iona College, was reappointed to the NCAA Division I Men's Water Polo Committee.
