French, Getchius, and McDowell Earn Water Polo Weekly Awards

French opened the season
with four goals and six assists in Wagner's first four games at the Bucknell
Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
French, who was one of two Seahawks to earn Preseason All-Conference
honors, also added 3 steals, 1 take away, 4 kick out's drawn and a field block. Her two goals against Mercyhurst gave Wagner
a 3-2 lead before halftime and an 8-5 lead late in the fourth quarter. Of her
six assists on the day, two came on game-winning goals.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Valley, CA/Royal
Getchius helped lead Marist to a 2-1
record last week, posting a 6.00 GAA and a .617 save percentage. She allowed
five goals, while making 11 saves in a win over Gannon. Getchius followed that
up with a 12 save performance in a 5-4 win over Maryland.
MAAC Rookie of the Week

McDOWELL, SIENA

Miami, FL/Gulliver Prep
McDowell registered a goal and five assists in three
matches for the Saints this past weekend. She had two assists in a narrow loss
to George Washington. McDowell then scored her first career goal, the
game-winner in a 7-6 victory over Mercyhurst. She also added three assists in
the match.
