STEPHANIE GEEHAN, FAIRFIELD

Geehan had three
double-doubles on the week, and finished it averaging 23.3 points, 14.0
rebounds. 4.3 blocks, 2.3 assists and 2.0 steals in the Stags three victories.
She shot 50 percent, 28-56, from the floor on the week, as well as hitting 8-16
from behind the arc. Geehan started the week with a 32-point, 15-rebound effort
in a win at Siena, where she hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 23 seconds to
play and blocked the Saints final shot with two seconds left. She followed that
with a 16-point, 15-rebound effort in the Stags snapped an 11-game series
losing streak to Iona. On Sunday versus Rider she tallied 22 points, giving her
1,000 for her career, as well as pulling down 12 rebounds.

Week
CAITLIN BOPP, RIDER
Freshman, Center, 6-2, Baltimore, MD/Inst. of Notre Dame
Bopp averaged a
double-double for the week with 14.5 points and 13.0 rebounds per game as Rider
went 1-1. In the Bronc win over Saint Peter's, Bopp had 15 points and 14
rebounds while going seven for seven from the free throw line. At Fairfield,
Bopp helped Rider battle back from a 20-point deficit with 14 points and 12
rebounds (six offensive) while blocking four shots. She shot 50 percent from
the field against the Stags. Bopp has three straight double-doubles and 10 for
the season. She is also nationally ranked in rebounds per game and enters the
week third in the nation among rookie rebounders.
