Riverdale, NY- The Manhattan women's basketball team ran the "Hoops for Cancer" event during their game against Cornell. Each athlete and coach went out and raised money to donate to the American Cancer Society. Each member of the team either received a donation or was sponsored a specific amount of money per basket that was made in the game. The team raised $1,500 for the event.
