Edison, NJ - Saint Peter's College senior swimmer Katharine Bigg was
named the NJAIAW Woman of the Year yesterday in a
halftime ceremony that took place at Seton Hall University.
Katherine
is a three-time member of the MAAC All-Academic team. For the past two
years, she has been the president of the SAAC, a member of the MAAC
SAAC, and has helped to organize the annual "Toys for Tots" drive. As
president of the education honor society and vice president of the
student education association, she works closely with a home for
battered women and their children, hosting parties and providing
tutoring.
