Mujanovic, Price Selected for Indoor Track Weekly Awards

Edison, NJ – Manhattan College’s Seid Mujanovic was named the MAAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week, while Rider University’s Alicia Price earned the women’s award.
Mujanovic, a senior from Travankut, Serbia, grabbed a bronze medal Saturday in the men's weight throw at New Balance Collegiate Invitational, a two-day meet that featured some of the top teams in the country. Mujanovic took third in the weight throw with a personal record and IC4A qualifying distance of 20.63 meters, a mark also moved Mujanovic to sixth place all-time among Jasper weight throwers and placed him among the top eight in the NCAA for the 2010 indoor season.
Price, a senior from Voorhees, New Jersey, won the weight throw in an ECAC qualifying distance (16.33m) and won the shot put (12.95m) in a dual meet with TCNJ.
The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held on Friday, February 19th at The Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.
