Rigby, Hepper, and Mangan Earn Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors

MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
ERIN RIGBY,

Rigby
led the Stags offense with eight goals and three assists. She had her second
eight-point effort of the year against Quinnipiac, touching net seven times in
that game and going 3-3 in free position chances. Rigby also recorded six draw
controls against Quinnipiac, going for seven on the week. She scored once, and
handed out two assists, against James Madison. Rigby picked up two ground
balls, one in each game.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

SIENA
M, Jr., 5-3,
Bernardsville, NJ/Bernards
Hepper led the Saints with five caused turnovers and
seven ground balls in two games this past week. She also had four goals. Hepper
had three goals, three ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover in
a 12-10 win at Wagner. She followed that with one goal, four ground balls, two
draw controls and four caused turnovers in a loss to UAlbany.

MANGAN, FAIRFIELD
M, Fr., 5-10,
Sayville, NY/St. Anthony’s
Mangan
continues to impress, tallying five points on the week. She touched net twice,
and handed out two assists, against Quinnipiac. Mangan had three points in
helping the Stags rally from a 12-10 deficit. She assisted on the Kelly Barnes
goal which cut the lead to one goal, and then her second tally tied the game 12-12.
Mangan also had the assist on Kristen Coleman’s game-winning tally. Mangan
scored a goal and had a caused turnover against James Madison.
