Mikel tallied a career-high 11 points on seven goals and four
assists and led Siena to a 21-13 season opener win over Presbyterian in
Clinton, South Carolina. It is the most goals Siena has scored in a single game
since the program started in 1997. She scored on seven of her 10 shots and both
of her free-position shots. She won five draw controls and had four ground
balls.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Corso caused five turnovers, four ground balls, and
two draw controls as Siena defeated Presbyterian on the road in its season
opener. She added an assist in the 21-13 victory.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
KATIE MAGUIRE,
SIENA
M, Fr., 5-3,
Duluth, GA/Northview
Maguire scored a goal on her only shot in her first
collegiate game last week. She scored less than three minutes into the game to
give Siena a 3-1 lead. Siena went on to win its season opener at Presbyterian,
21-13. Maguire also had three ground balls.
