Poughkeepsie, NY- On March 28, over 110 Marist student-athletes volunteered at the
Special Olympics Regional hosted by the Marist Athletic Department.
Marist athletes assisted throughout the day, while Special Olympians competed
in powerlifting, basketball skills, and games. The Marist
athletes representing eight varsity sports kept stats, refereed games,
assisted and encouraged the participants, and handed out awards at this annual
event.
