2010 Citizens Bank MAAC Men's Basketball Championship Quarterfinals Set for Saturday

ALBANY, N.Y. - The quarterfinals of the 2010 Citizens Bank MAAC Men's Basketball Championship starts on Saturday afternoon at the Times Union Center.
The first of four games on the day features fourth-seeded Saint Peter's College against fifth-seeded Rider University at 2:30 p.m., live on the MSG Network. The teams split their regular season matchups, with the Peacocks earning a 77-67 win at Alumni Gymnasium on Jan. 15, and the Broncs taking a 72-66 victory on Feb. 15 at the Yanitelli Center.
Game two has top-seeded Siena College versus ninth-seeded Manhattan College at 4:30 p.m. on MSG2. The Saints won both meetings this year, with an 83-68 win at the Times Union Center on Jan. 18 and a 66-58 victory at Draddy Gymnasium on Jan. 24.
The third game of the night features second-seeded Fairfield University against seventh-seeded Canisius College at 7:30 p.m. on MSG2 and MASN. The Stags took two from the Griffs earlier this year with a 58-52 win at the HSBC Arena on Jan. 2 and a 76-74 victory on Jan. 18 at the Arena at Harbor Yard.
The finale of the night includes third-seeded Iona College versus sixth-seeded Niagara University at 9:30 p.m. on MSG and MASN. The Gaels claimed a regular-season sweep of the Purple Eagles with a 63-60 victory on Jan. 2 at the HSBC Arena and a 64-47 win at the Hynes Athletic Center on Jan. 16.
