had eight goals on the week for the Mountaineers, giving him 35 goals in nine
games this season. The sophomore netted
six goals in the Mount's 12-9 come-from-behind win over Detroit. It was the fourth-time this season he has
scored five or more goals in a game. He
added a pair of goals in the Mount's 11-6 loss to No. 11 Georgetown.

Herbst made a season-high 16 saves in a double
overtime loss at Binghamton on Wednesday. He made nine saves and allowed six
goals (in 45 minutes) in a win against Wagner on Saturday. He finished the week
with a .625 save percentage and a 8.13 GAA.

Schmidt had an
outstanding effort in the Mount's 12-9 win over Detroit, figuring in on seven
of the team's 12 goals. He finished the game with a goal and six assists for a
career-best seven points. The six-assist game was the most assists in a game
for the Mountaineers since Roland Miller had six in a 17-9 win over Canisius on
3/28/1998.
CONNOR RICE, MARIST

Rice had six points this week in Marist's
games against #16 Lafayette and Canisius. He had two goals and an assist
against the Leopards at Tenney Stadium on Tuesday night. Rice then matched that
effort with two goals, including the go-ahead goal in the fourth quarter, and
an assist as the Red Foxes defeated Canisius, 9-6.
