Loudonville, NY- The Siena men's lacrosse team pledged 25 cents to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for every fan that attended its home game against Virginia Military Institute on Saturday. The program donated the proceeds to St. Baldrick's Foundation, which helps raise money for childhood cancer research.
"We are excited as a program to support such a great cause and help rally our campus around a disease that affects almost everyone in some way or another," Head Coach Brian Brecht said. "We are very fortunate as student-athletes to compete on the lacrosse field and go to class everyday in pursuit of our dreams. As part of the Siena community, it's important we embody our Franciscan values."
