Loyola's Paquette Named Chair of the MAAC Swimming and Diving Committee

Edison, N.J. - Loyola University's Assistant Vice President And Director of Athletics Jim Paquette was named chair of the MAAC Swimming and Diving Committee by the MAAC Committee on Athletic Administration.

Paquette, whose appointment began on April 1, joined Loyola from Boston College, where he served as associate athletics director for development since 2002.  At Loyola, he succeeded retiring Athletics Director Joseph Boylan, who has been with the University since 1991.

Most recently, Paquette served as vice chair of the ACC Men's Tennis Committee and was a member of the ACC Student-Athlete Welfare Committee.  He was also past chair of the ACC Development Committee.  Paquette also serves as the first vice president for the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) and has served as an officer and executive committee member the past five years.
