Men's Second Round Results | Women's Second Round Results

Celebration, FL - The Siena men's and women's teams extended their leads during the second round of the 2010 MAAC Golf Championships at Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, FL.

On the men's side, the Saints posted a second round 299 to give them a two-day total of 599. Loyola is currently in second place with a score of 609, followed by Rider (614), Iona (616), Canisius (623), Saint Peter's (626), Manhattan (637), Fairfield (639), and Niagara (668).

Saint Peter's Sean Fitzpatrick is still the individual leader after shooting a 77, giving him a two-day score of 145. However, Iona's Doug Hoppe closed the gap to one with a two-over 74 that puts him at 146 for the championship.

For the women, Siena leads with a two-day score of 628 after shooting a 311 in the second round. Fairfield remains in second with a total of 647, followed by Hartford (655), UAlbany (670), Boston University (675), and Niagara (828).

Siena's Bridget Carr carded a 77 to remain at the top of the leaderboard with a two-day 151. Hartford's Sarah Sideranko shot a 76 for the second straight day to give her a score of 152. Carr's teammate Catherine Shomo is in third place with a total of 153.

The final round of the 2010 MAAC Golf Championships begin at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 2. The men will tee off from the first hole at 7:30 a.m., while the women will start at number ten at the same time. Click here to view the tee times.
