Celebration, FL - The Loyola men's golf team rallied to win its third straight MAAC title at the 2010 MAAC Golf Championships at Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, FL. Iona's Doug Hoppe was the men's individual champion.

Loyola trailed Siena by 10 strokes heading into the final round, but the Greyhounds were able to overcome the deficit, posting a winning total of 904. Siena finished second with a score of 908. Rider was third at 914, followed by Iona (916), Canisius (923), Saint Peter's (942), Fairfield (953), Manhattan (960), and Niagara (985). Loyola was led by Jay Mulieri, who finished in a three-way tie for second with a score of 224.

Hoppe won the McLeod Memorial Award with rounds of 72, 74, and 74 (220). The award is named after Charles "Scott" McLeod, a 1980 graduate of Iona College, who passed away in 1985 after a life-long fight with kidney-related ailments. McLeod was also a lifetime member of the Pelham Country Club, where the MAAC Tournament was held in the middle 1980's, and was a sponsor of the tournament the first year it was held at Pelham.

Siena head coach Tom Wronowski was selected as the 2010 MAAC Men's Coach of the Year. Iona's Dylan Newman earned Rookie of the Year honors.
