MAAC Announces 2010 Baseball All-Academic Team

Fishkill, N.Y. - A total of 42 athletes comprise the 2010 MAAC Baseball All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Niagara University led all schools with nine members named to the team. Canisius College had seven student-athletes. Fairfield University, Marist College and Rider University each had five representatives. Iona College added four members, and Saint Peter's College both had three players named to the squad. Manhattan College and Marist College rounded out the team with two athletes apiece.
