MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

SAMANTHA GOOD, CANISIUS

MH, So., 5-10, Rochester, NY/Greece-Arcadia

Good averaged 3.83 kills per set and 1.50 blocks per set while posting a .410 attack percentage in two Canisius wins in the Canisius/Niagara Invitational last weekend. In the three-set win over Colgate, Good posted a .643 attack percentage for the second time this season. The sophomore also had six blocks in the three-set win over Robert Morris.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

ALLISON NIETERS, IONA

OH/L, Sr., 5-9, St. Charles, MO/Lutheran

Nieters averaged nearly 6.5 digs per set in Iona's 2-1 weekend at the Columbia Classic. Nieters recorded 71 digs in 11 sets played and was instrumental in the Gaels' holding their opponents to a .106 hitting percentage in the three matches. She posted a 95.9% reception percentage with three errors in 73 receptions. After 26 digs in three sets vs. CCSU on Friday, Nieters recorded her 26th career 30+ dig effort with 34 vs. host Columbia. Already holding the MAAC record in the statistic, her 2,245 career digs stands just eight shy of entering the NCAA All-Time Top 25 list.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

NICOLE SARBY, LOYOLA

OH, Fr., 6-0, Naperville, IL/Naperville Central

In four matches, a total of 14 sets, Sarby had 32 kills for a .291 hitting percentage. She also added four assists and 30 digs for an average of 2.14 digs a set. She had six blocks for the week including one solo block.
