Edison, NJ- Aisley Carter of Rider University was selected as the MAAC Women's Diver of the Week, while the men's award went to Brian Bolstad of Marist College. MAAC Swimmer of the Week honors went to Kate Conard of Marist and Brennan Morris of Loyola University Maryland.

Carter won the 1-meter dive (231.75) and the 3-meter dive (248.70) as Rider swept a tri-meet at Loyola University Maryland with Boston College.  The Broncs defeated the Greyhounds 180-118 and the Eagles 181-117.

Bolstad won both diving events for the Red Foxes in their meet versus Southern Connecticut State on January 15. He cruised to victory on the 3-meter board with a score of 339.52, as well as in the 1-meter, where he posted a score of 334.72 points. In both competitions, he outscored the second place finisher by at least 120 points. His 18 individual points were second best for the Red Foxes on the day.

Conard had a record-setting day for the Red Foxes in their meet on January 15 versus Southern Connecticut State.  In her victory in the 500-yd. freestyle, she posted the MAAC's fastest time of the season, 4:59.59 and the first time that the 5 minute barrier was broken in a dual event by a female.  In her second event, the 200-yd. butterfly, Conard posted a time of 2:07.93.  That time is the second fastest among MAAC female swimmers this season.  In relay action, Conard was the lead swimmer in the victorious 200-yd. medley team, who finished 4.5 seconds ahead of second place with a time of 1:50.39.

Morris won the only three individual events in which he competed to help Loyola to a 170-130 win over Rider and a 189-109 win over Boston College on Saturday. The sophomore won the men's 1,000-yard freestyle by finishing ahead of Rider's Arthur Arciszewski by more than 14 seconds with a time of 9:56.54. Morris followed that win up with victories in the men's 200-yard backstroke and the men's 200-yard individual medley, both coming over Rider's Johnny Funk by margins of less than a second.

The 2011 MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships will be held February 17-19 at Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY, hosted by Canisius College and Niagara University.
