Marist to Host Loyola on January 22 on MSG and MASN

Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference continues its 2010-11 MAAC Basketball Television Schedule with Marist College hosting Loyola University Maryland on Saturday, January 22. Game time is slated for 2:00 p.m. at the McCann Center, and it will air on the MSG Network and MASN.
Loyola is now 9-9 overall and 5-3 in league play. The Greyhounds are led by junior forward Shane Walker, who is averaging 11.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, and freshman guard Dylon Cormier, who is registering 9.3 points and 3.3 rebounds a night.
Marist is currently 4-16 overall and 3-5 in the MAAC. The Red Foxes are led by sophomore guard Sam Prescott, who is averaging 10.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, as well as junior guard R.J. Hall, who is contributing 9.2 points and 2.7 assists an outing.
The Greyhounds won the first meeting with the Red Foxes this season, claiming an 83-67 win at Reitz Arena on January 3. Walker scored 19 points and Robert Olson had 17 in the victory. Walker, who also had eight rebounds for the Greyhounds, scored seven of his points in a game-opening 16-2 run for Loyola. The Greyhounds led 44-31 at the half and by as many as 22 in the second half. Loyola enjoyed a 31-19 rebounding advantage, including 14-5 in offensive rebounds. Olson got 12 of his points from 3-point range for Loyola. Erik Etherly scored all 14 of his points in the second half, and Brian Rudolph handed out six assists. Hall scored 17 points and Candon Rusin 15 to pace the Red Foxes.
