Saint Peter's College Names Julian Richens Head Men's Soccer Coach 1/28/2011 7:10:00 PM MAAC Sports Jersey City, N.J. - The Saint Peter's College Department of Athletics has named Julian Richens the new Men's Soccer Head Coach. Richens comes to Saint Peter's after serving as a men's soccer assistant coach at Rider University for the past four years."We are excited to have Julian join Saint Peter's as our new Men's Soccer Head Coach," said Director of Athletics Patrick Elliott. "His brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the program."Since coming to the United States in 1999, Richens has been a Regional Manager for Noga ProExcel, a national coaching company, directed Champions World Camps with AC Milan and served as Head Coach for New Jersey City University's Women's team during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. He also coached the National Championship USL Under-20 Princeton team in 2010.An experienced player and youth coach, Richens played for several semi-professional teams in the UK as a sweeper, and played at Brunel from 1995-1998.Richens earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science in 1998 from Brunel. He is licensed by the USSF, NSCAA and UEFA.
