Riverdale, N.Y. - On Sunday, October
9th, the Manhattan College Men's & Women's Track & Field program
volunteered at the Manhattan College High School Invitational. The team helped
guide the runners through the trails, assisted with scoring and the awarding of
medals.
The volunteer shifts ran from 6:45 a.m to 6pm, 71 student-athletes
participated, as they helped during varying shifts throughout the day. The team
volunteers at this event every year and is looking forward to planning more
team wide volunteer efforts.
