Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - At their monthly SAAC meeting, 28 SAAC members
filled out encouraging greeting cards for the CHEM-pals program. CHEM-pals (cheerful heart, encouragement,
message pals) provides donated greeting cards to people being treated at the
Dyson Center for Cancer Care at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie,
NY. Athletes wrote encouraging notes and
messages in the cards in an effort to bring some cheer and comfort to those
struggling with this disease.
