Riverdale, N.y. - On Sunday, October
23rd, the Manhattan College Women's Lacrosse team program put on their running
shoes in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. The participants took part in
the 23rd Annual Walk at Riverside Park. The two mile walk was expected to raise
$1 million to go towards programs and services offered by the Alzheimer's
Association. The proceeds also go towards research into better treatments and a
possible cure.
