Samantha
Good posted double-digit kills as well as attack percentages of .500 or better
in two Canisius sweeps last weekend. The junior averaged 3.50 kills per set, a
.514 attack percentage and 1.00 blocks per set in the two wins. Against
Manhattan, Good had 11 kills and a .500 attack percentage to go along with
three solo blocks. Against Saint Peter's, the 5-foot-10 middle hitter had 10
kills and a .529 attack percentage with three blocks.

Morgan continued her nation leading double-digit digs streak to 123 consecutive
matches as Niagara defeated Saint Peter's and Manhattan over the weekend.
Morgan had match-highs of 15 and 28 digs against SPC and Manhattan, respectively,
as the Purple Eagles extended their MAAC win streak to 33 matches. Morgan, who
is fourth in the NCAA in digs per set, averaged 5.38 digs per set in the two
matches. Morgan had a perfect reception percentage (43-for-43) for the 13th
time this season.
Rookie of the Week
Caitlin Stapleton, Fairfield, Fr., Middle Blocker, 6-2,
Milford, Conn./Jonathan Law
Freshman Caitlin Stapleton
continued to play well for the Stags, averaging 3.00 kills on .351
hitting in Fairfield's 2-0 week. In the Stags' 3-0 win at Loyola, she tallied
nine kills and a block. In the 3-0 victory at Rider, Stapleton posted nine
kills on .474 hitting with two total blocks and extended her streak of
recording at least nine kills to eight matches.
