Three MAAC Volleyball Players Named To COBRA Magazine All-Northeast Team

Edison, N.J. - Fairfield's Brianna Dixion, Iona's Catrina Warren, and
Siena's Jacqueline Skeen were named to the COBRA Magazine All-Northeast Team,
announced by the Magazine on Sunday evening. Dixion and Warren were part of the
First Team, while Skeen was named Honorable Mention.
COBRA Magazine's purpose is to celebrate the success of volleyball players
of African as well as Samoan and Tongan descent in hopes of encouraging young
girls of those ethnic groups across the country to pursue the sport.
Dixion led her team with 289 kills, and a 3.14 kills per set average. The
native of Long Beach, California, also finished second on her team with 303.5
points. Dixion was named to the All-MAAC Second Team and was a 2010 COBRA
Magazine All-Northeast Team selection as well.
Warren finished second on her team with 247 kills, and a 2.63 kills per set
average. The Rancho Cucamonga, California, native also finished third on
her team with 555 total attempts and led the squad with a .314 hitting
percentage. Warren was named to the All-MAAC Second and Rookie Team this
season.
Skeen finished the season leading her team with 91 blocks, and a .97 blocks
per set average. She was also named to the All-MAAC Rookie Team.
