averaged 9.83 assists per set and 2.50 digs per set to go along with a .588
attack percentage in Canisius sweeps of Marist and Siena last weekend. Davis
had 33 assists in the win against Marist and then had a double-double with 26
assists and 11 digs in the win over Siena. Davis posted an attack percentage of
.500 or better in each match, with 11 kills on 17 attack attempts.
Defensive Player of the Week
Allyson Severn, Canisius, Jr., Libero, 5-5,

Severyn
averaged 7.33 digs per set in Canisius sweeps of Marist and Siena last weekend.
The 5-foot-5 libero recorded 28 digs in the win over Marist, the most digs by a
Canisius player in a three-set match since Oct. 29, 2006. Severyn also recorded
a 97.5 service reception percentage, going 39-for-40 on the weekend.
Rookie of the Week
Tina Catanach, Loyola, Fr., Outside Hitter, 5-11, Tampa,
Fla./H.B. Plant H.S.
Catanach led the Loyola offense this week, as the Greyhounds won a pair of
MAAC contests. The freshman outside hitter from Tampa, Fla., had 29 total kills
and hit .250, while posting 16 digs defensively. On Wednesday night, she
recorded 15 kills in just three sets, an average of 5.0 per set, as the Greyhounds
swept their way past Saint Peter's. She followed that with an impressive
performance on Saturday night, helping Loyola rally from two sets down to beat
Rider in five. Catanach finished with 14 kills, all but two coming in the final
three sets that Loyola won to beat the Broncs. She hit .258 and contributed
nine digs and a service ace.
