Player of the Week

MyNeshia McKenzie, Rider

McKenzie had two 'double-doubles' in Rider's 2-0 week as the Broncs defeated Stony Brook 53-41 and won at NJIT 60-50.  Against the Seawolves, McKenzie had 11 points and tied a career-high with 15 rebounds.  Versus the Highlanders, McKenzie had 14 points, 11 in the second half and pulled down 10 rebounds to go along with three steals and two blocks.  For the week, McKenzie averaged 12.5 points and 12.5 rebounds playing almost 32 minutes per contest.  McKenzie has had 'double-doubles' in three straight games and has 10 'double-doubles' in her career, including five this season.


Rookie of the Week

Emily Fazzini, Rider
Fr., G, 5-10, Wayne, Pa./Archbishop Carroll

Fazzini averaged 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds as Rider went undefeated (2-0) this past week.  In Rider's 60-50 win at NJIT, Fazzini scored nine points to go along with four rebounds, two assists and a block.  Against Stony Brook, in a 53-41 win, Fazzini had four points and three rebounds.
