Riverdale, N.Y. - On Friday December
2nd, the Manhattan College Women's Lacrosse Team hosted a Virtual Sock Drive.
The objective of the sock drive was to get students to click the "donate
now" button on the Hanes Facebook page. There were 2 iPads at the donation
table in order to collect immediate donations. For every click of the
"donate now" button, one pair of socks would be donated to the Salvation
Army. The Lady Jaspers we're able to obtain over 150 sock donations within a 4
hour period.
