Johnson shot 75 percent from the field as she
averaged 20.5 points per game on the week. She also averaged 7.0 rebounds, 3.5
blocks and 2.5 steals per game, while handing out two assists. Johnson hit 7-9
from the field for 21 points in the team's win over Saint Peter's at Alumni
Hall, as well as going 7-10 at the free throw line. She also blocked three
shots in the game. Johnson then proceeded to hit 8-11 from the field on
Saturday versus Loyola, finishing with 20 points. She had five steals and four
blocked shots in that contest, as well as eight rebounds. Half of her 14
rebounds for the week were on the offensive glass.

the Week
MONICA ROEDER, MANHATTAN
Freshman,
Guard/Forward, 6-0, Marlton, NJ/Cherokee
Roeder averaged 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and
2.5 assists in two games last week.
Against Iona on Monday, she had 19 points on 7-for-15 shooting (46.7
percent) while also pulling down seven rebounds and dishing out a career-high
four assists in the 63-47 victory. Then in the 60-42 loss at No. 24 Marist on
Friday, Roeder drained four three-pointers, shooting 4-for-10 (40 percent) from
long range, to finish with a team-high 14 points. She also grabbed four
rebounds against the Red Foxes.
