Mangan powered the Stags to a
season opening win by scoring a game-high six points. She scored five goals on
the day including two in the final minutes of the first-half to complete a
Stags rally from 3-0 behind to 6-3 ahead at intermission. Mangan added an
assist on the Stags first goal of the second-half, pushing the lead back to
three goals. She went 1-3 on free position shots and corralled three draw
controls, picked up a ground ball and caused a turnover.

Fr., 5-4, Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale
Raso had an impressive debut
at the collegiate level. She picked up five ground balls for the Stags, along
with causing three turnovers - both game highs at Monmouth. Raso also won five
draw controls.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
JAMIE ROMANO, MARIST
M, Fr., 5-10, Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park
In a strong collegiate debut versus Lehigh on Saturday February 19, Romano
was the second leading goal scorer for the Red Foxes as she put two in the
net. She filled up the rest of the stat
sheet as well, as she collected two ground balls and two draw controls.
