Two MAAC Men's Basketball Games Will Be Televised on Friday

Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference continues its 2010-11 MAAC Basketball Television Schedule with two men's basketball games on a pair of ESPN platforms Friday.

The first game will feature Siena College at Fairfield University at 7:00 p.m., live on ESPN2. Siena, 11-16 overall and 7-9 in the MAAC, is led by senior forward Ryan Rossiter, who is contributing league highs of 18.6 points and 13.4 rebounds per game, and senior guard Clarence Jackson, who is posting 14.6 points and 2.9 rebounds an outing for the Saints. Fairfield, 22-5 overall and 14-2 in the MAAC, is led by sophomore guard Derek Needham, who is averaging 14.4 points and 4.8 assists a night, and junior forward Ryan Olander, who is adding 10.7 points and 6.8 rebounds a game for the Stags.

Game two has Iona College facing host Saint Peter's for a 9:00 p.m. tip-off on ESPNU, the 24-hour sports network. Iona, 18-10 overall and 11-5 in the MAAC, is led by junior forward Mike Glover, who is registering 18.5 points and 10.1 rebounds a night, and junior guard Scott Machado, who is contributing 13.8 points and a nation-best 7.6 assists a night for the Gaels. Saint Peter's, 17-11 overall and 11-5 in the MAAC, is led by senior guard Wesley Jenkins, who is averaging 13.0 points and 5.1 rebounds an outing, and senior forward Jeron Belin, who is registering 11.0 points and 5.2 rebounds a night for the Peacocks.
