MOORE, SIENA
Senior, Forward, 6-2, Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney
Moore had yet another impressive week to close out the
regular season. The Rochester, N.Y. native averaged 19.3 points and 8.0
rebounds leading the Saints to wins at Fairfield and over Canisius. On Monday,
Moore recorded her 10th double double of the season, scoring 18 of her
game-high 27 points in the second half, tied a career-high with 15 rebounds and
added three blocks as the Saints completed the regular season series sweep of
Fairfield. After posting 10 points and six rebounds in a loss to Marist Friday,
Moore had a Senior Day to remember against Canisius. Moore again led all
scorers with 21 points, more than half of the Saints' total output, and added
four steals and three blocks as the Saints held off the Golden Griffins.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
MONICA ROEDER, MANHATTAN
Freshman, Guard/Forward, 6-0, Marlton, NJ/Cherokee
Roeder continued her solid play down the stretch, averaging
12.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists in three games last week. In Manhattan's 60-45 loss at Loyola on Monday
night, Roeder drained four treys and finished with a team-high 17 points to go
along with five rebounds. She then had 10 points and three assists in the Lady
Jaspers' 53-44 Senior Day victory over Fairfield on Friday. Roeder completed
her regular season with a 10-point, four-rebound effort in a 57-51 win at Iona.
She also tallied a team-high three assists and three steals against the Gaels.
