2011 MAAC Wild Card Games Selected by ESPN

Edison, N.J. - ESPN has chosen the two MAAC men's basketball matchups that will be televised on Friday, February 25.
The ESPN2 telecast will feature Siena College (10-12, 7-5 MAAC) at Fairfield University (19-4, 11-2 MAAC). Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard.
Iona College (13-10, 7-5 MAAC) will take on host Saint Peter's College (14-10, 9-4 MAAC) at Yanitelli Center at 9:00 p.m. on ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network.
The 2011 Spark Energy MAAC Women's Basketball Championship Game, scheduled for Monday, March 7 at 1:00 p.m., will be broadcast nationally for the first time on ESPNU. The men's championship game will also be played on Monday at 7:00 p.m., and will air on either ESPN or ESPN2. Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn. will host the 2011 Spark Energy MAAC Basketball Championships from March 3-7.
The league continues its 2010-11 ESPN MAAC Basketball Television Schedule on Friday, February 11 with a doubleheader from Iona's Hynes Athletics Center. The Iona women will host Marist College for a 4:30 p.m. contest, followed by the Iona men taking on Siena at 7:00 p.m., with both games airing on ESPNU.
