Edison, NJ- Brittany Pavolko of Siena College was awarded MAAC Women's Swimmer of the Week, while the men's award went to Johnny Funk of Rider University. MAAC Diver of the Week honors went to Aisley Carter and Tom Smallwood, both of Rider.

Pavolko concluded a spectacular regular season with two victories on Senior Day against Fairfield on Saturday. She first competed in the 200 fly and smashed the field with a time of 2:09.97, the second-fastest 200 fly time in Siena Swim Center history. She then triumphed in the 100 fly, stopping the timer in :59.11.

Funk won the 200 IM (1:56.71) and led off the winning 400 medley relay (3:35.65) as Rider defeated Lafayette, 58-48.

Carter won the one-meter (242.25) and three-meter dive (260.47) as Rider defeated Lafayette 108-106 in the final dual meet of the regular season.

Smallwood won the one-meter dive (273.75) as Rider defeated Lafayette, 58-48, in the final dual meet of the regular season.

The 2011 MAAC Swimming & Diving Championships will be held February 17-19 at Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY, hosted by Canisius College and Niagara University.
