Mikel, Corso, and Reilly Take Home Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards

MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

CAITLIN MIKEL, SIENA

A, Sr., 5-6, Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit

 Mikel tallied 11 points last week as she became the all-time leading scorer in program history. Mikel broke the record Wednesday at home against Vermont, scoring two goals while adding a season-high four assists. On Sunday, she recorded a hat trick and finished with five points, leading the Saints to a 16-8 win over Wagner in the inaugural Oyster Bay Classic on Long Island.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

AMANDA CORSO, SIENA

D, Jr., 5-3, Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee

 Corso had a solid defensive showing for the Saints last week, picking up 10 groundballs and causing three turnovers. After picking up four groundballs against Vermont, she tied a career-high with six groundballs and caused two turnovers, limiting Wagner's offense in a 16-8 Siena win to capture the inaugural Oyster Bay Classic.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

ADDIE REILLY, FAIRFIELD

A, Fr., 5-6, Locust Valley, N.Y./Portledge

 Reilly led the Stags offense for the week with seven points. She finished with four points in the win over Lehigh and scored the game-winner, as well as assisting on the game-tying goal. Reilly scored a hat trick, half of the team's offense, at Hofstra. She recorded a draw control in that contest and was 2-2 on free position chances for the week.
