MELISSA DONNELLY, MANHATTAN
Senior, P/INF, 5-6, Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach
Donnelly hit .600 with three home runs and 10 RBIs in four games over the weekend. After going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in a 4-3 win over Lafayette in the first game of a doubleheader, she went 2-for-3 with four RBIs in the second game. Against Quinnipiac, her two-run home run accounted for Manhattan's only scoring in the first game, a 5-2 loss. Then in the second game, Donnelly finished just shy of the cycle, going 4-for-5 with four RBIs.
MAAC Pitcher of the Week
ALYSSA MAIESE, IONA
Senior, P, 5-8, Sewell, N.J./Indiana Univ.
Alyssa Maiese went the distance for the Gaels in an 8-3 victory over Harvard, allowing four hits and one earned run to pick up her second win of the season. She walked just one batter and struck out nine, just one off her career high set this season against Mount St. Mary's on March 5.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
LAUREN LISETH, FAIRFIELD
Freshman, C, Centralia, Wash./Centralia
Liseth batted .500 for the week with six hits in 12 at-bats during the Cal Poly Mustang Classic. She had three doubles with three RBI and scored a run, and posted two three-hit games. Liseth was also nearly flawless in the field, registering 20 putouts with eight assists and only one error (.966 fielding percentage). She drove home two of the team's three runs in the Stags' lone win during the weekend tournament as the Stags defeated Cal Poly 3-1.
