MAAC Announces 2011 Men's and Women's Rowing All-Academic Teams

West Windsor, N.J. - A total of 83 athletes comprise the 2011 MAAC Men's and Women's Rowing All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Marist College led all schools with 21 members named to the teams, and Robert Morris University had 15 athletes selected. Loyola University added 12 members, while Fairfield University and Iona College both had nine. Drake University added seven representatives, while Manhattan College had six named to the squad. Sacred Heart University rounded out the teams with four student-athletes.
