Rider Sweeps Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Honors

Edison, NJ - Outdoor Track
& Field Performer of the Week honors were awarded to Michael Soroko and Mia
Riley, both of Rider University.
Soroko continued his strong
outdoor season by finishing third in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 8:52.22
at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational this past weekend. He set a new Rider
record and qualified for IC4As. Soroko's time in the steeplechase is the 16th
fastest NCAA time this season.
At Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational, Riley
finished tied for third in the 100m (12.28) and was on the 4x100 relay that
placed sixth (48.89).
The 2011 MAAC
Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted May 7-8 at Rider
University in Lawrenceville, NJ.
