MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

MEGAN OOSTING, CANISIUS

M, Jr., 5-7, Lakefield, Ontario/Lakefield District

Oosting led the Canisius attack during the week, recording 13 points on 12 goals and one assist. She opened the week by matching career highs with six points and five goals in a win over rival Niagara. Oosting then netted a team-best four goals against ninth-ranked Albany before finishing the week with three goals in just a half of play against St. Bonaventure. Oosting also collected 13 draw controls, six ground balls and six caused turnovers during the week.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

KRISTIN CONCORDIA, SIENA

G, Jr., 5-7, Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas

 Concordia was solid between the pipes, quarterbacking a strong effort by the Siena defense in an 8-6 win over Marist that clinched the Saints a spot in the MAAC Tournament. Concordia made six saves and added a game-high six groundballs while also causing two turnovers. She was especially exceptional down the stretch, stopping four of the five shots on goal she faced in the second half as Siena rallied from an early three-goal deficit.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

JENNA SLOWEY, FAIRFIELD

A, Fr., 5-5, Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown

 Slowey scored four points in the Stags win over Iona in the lone game of the week. She netted three goals on the afternoon as well as assisting on another Fairfield tally.
