Lake Buena Vista, FL - Siena College, led by senior Katelynn Mannix who claimed the individual title, won its 11th straight women's golf title at the 2011 MAAC Golf Championships at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

Siena won the team championship with a three-day total of 952. Fairfield finished second with a score of 969, followed by Hartford (1000), UAlbany (1035), Boston Univ. (1040), and Niagara (1152). Siena's Katelynn Mannix and Kylie Strijek led the way for the Saints with scores of 221 and 239, respectively.

Mannix carded scores of 76, 72, and 73 to win the McLeod Memorial Award with a score of 221. The award is named after Charles "Scott" McLeod, a 1980 graduate of Iona College, who passed away in 1985 after a life-long fight with kidney-related ailments. McLeod was also a lifetime member of the Pelham Country Club, where the MAAC Tournament was held in the middle 1980's, and was a sponsor of the tournament the first year it was held at Pelham.

Siena head coach Dave Wronowski was named the MAAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year for the second year in a row. Strijek was honored with the MAAC Rookie of the Year award.
